Happy Christmas in July! We’re doing fun Christmas projects for the rest of July and these yarn trees are one of my favorite projects! These trees are easy to make and add a fun whimsical touch to my Christmas decor! I know its only July but all of the decor stores have already started putting out christmas so it’s the perfect time to grab what you want now before everything is gone in the Fall!

Supplies:
Yarn
Hot glue gun
Hot glue
Styrofoam trees from the Dollar Tree
Accessorize with pom poms, ribbon, buttons or anything you want!

Step 1: Put glue at the top of the tree to attach a piece of yarn. Hold it until the glue is cool.
Step 2: Wrap yarn tightly around the cone. I did mine 2 or 3 times up and down to make it thick.
Step 3: Add glue to hold your yarn in place at the top or the bottom at any time.
Step 4: Glue the end of the yarn to the cone once you are finished.
Step 5: Personalize and decorate in any way that you want. I added pom poms and ribbons!

You can use these in your table settings, on top of candle sticks or on your mantles! Watch the video below to see the steps!
