I wanted to up date my breakfast bar light fixture, but couldn’t really find something that would work in the small space.  So I pulled out my favorite Black milk paint.  I started by taking out the light bulbs and old globes.  I cleaned the fixture and taped off the wall that it was attached to.  I covered the breakfast bar with cardboard and climbed up to paint the fixture.  I just used a small craft paint brush and it took two coats of paint.  I picked up 3 simple clear globes from Lowes.  Then I added new clear light bulbs and I have a new light fixture for under $30!  Such a simple and fast DIY that completely changed the look at my breakfast bar.  I love it!
