DIY Fabric Tree

We all have scrap pieces of wood laying around and I thought these DIY Fabric Tree’s would be a fun and inexpensive project for Christmas in July! I bought the fabric at Walmart, drew out a template and used decorations that I had left over from last year!

What you need:
Fabric or scrapbook paper
Cinnamon sticks or regular sticks
Twine
Mod Podge
Hot Glue Gun
Ribbon
Christmas Greenery
Fabric Tree Template

Cut out the template and decide how big the tree needs to be. I folded mine to get different heights. Trace it out on your fabric.

Put Mod Podge on your piece of wood. Lay the fabric down where you want the tree to go on the wood and Mod Podge it as well. I smoothed everything out with my fingers when I finished.

Break your cinnamon sticks and hot glue them as the trunk of the tree.

You can use any of your decor to make this more decorative. I decorated the top of the tree with berries, wrapped twine around the molding and added greenery and ribbon!

Watch the video at the bottom to see the steps and make it with me!
