I always like to decorate my mantle for whatever Holiday is coming up and Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays to decorate for. As you probably know by now, I like to keep everything cute, not creepy! I decided to make a banner for the mantle and kept the colors bright and whimsy! Here are the steps and everything you need to make your own DIY Spooky Halloween Banner!

What you need:

Felt (1 piece per letter)
Glue Gun
Gorilla Glue or Glue Sticks
Quilt batting or pillow filler
Scissors
Bakers twine, yarn or twine

Fold your felt in half to make the shapes of your letters! I drew out the shope of each letter, trimmed them out and lined them up to make sure they were proportional.
Trace each letter on the batting and then cut that out. Make sure you cut out the black line on your letters.
Glue the batting inside the felt.
Cut out square of felt or two for each letter, lay your bakers twine on the back and glue the squares at the top and bottom of each strip so the twine will run through it.
After everything drys you are ready to hang your banner!

Watch the video at the bottom to see the steps!
