July Stitch Fix

I’ve been receiving stitch fix boxes once a month since last spring and I LOVE it! I have to be in the right mood to go shopping but with a new outfit arriving at your door every month…who can complain? When you first start receiving your boxes it sometimes takes a few times for your stylist to get to know you and send you 5 things that you love but just be patient, I promise its worth it! Telling your stylist what you like out of your boxes and pinning things that match your style on Pinterest for your stylists to see is the key to being happy with what comes next in your box. If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix and how it works, here’s the breakdown of the process!

1. You start by filling out a style profile – you will answer questions about sizing, pricing, colors, etc. You can also write notes about your likes/dislikes. If you have a Pinterest, you can link your fashion boards so your stylist can find out more about what you like.
2. Order your fix! You will be charged a $20 styling fee, however, if you keep any item you will be credited back the $20. You should always keep at least one item in your box (so you don’t lose the $20). You will receive 5 items each time usually made up of clothing, jewelry and shoes. I personally don’t want jewelry in my fix so I just always let my stylist know so I can limit my box to clothes and shoes!
3. Decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back (they give you a prepaid envelope)! You have 3 business days to send it back so use the time to try everything on and see what you have in your closet that pairs well with it. Don’t be afraid to say yes to something that you wouldn’t normally.  A lot of times I get something in the box that I think I’ll hate but then I try it on and end up falling in love with it! That’s what makes it so fun! If you keep all 5 items you will receive 25% off your entire fix!
My regular stylist is out on maternity leave so I was excited to see what I got in my July box since I knew I was going to have a different person pick my items out this time! It looks like my regular stylist left some good notes because July’s box was definitely a good one!
First up is the French Grey- Lydia Brushed Knit Romper! When Hillary helped me open my box, she fell in love with this one! She’s going on a trip this weekend to Hilton Head and Savannah so she thought this would be perfect! It’s really lightweight and comfortable so it’s perfect for those hot summer days when you still want to look cute!
Next up is THML- Katherine Pom Trim Off the Shoulder top! Ya’ll know I love a pom pom so this shirt was definitely love at first sight! Its great for summer if you want to pair it with shorts but the color is also a good transition piece for the fall…..not that we really have seasons in Florida but it’s the thought that counts!
Next is the Violets & Roses- Raelie Tassel Detail Kimono! The colors on this are really vibrant and I love the tassel details on the bottom! This would also be a great beach cover up when you need to throw something on so this was a keeper!
Last are the two things I didn’t end up keeping out of my box. These were the Lakeview Denim- Alex Colored Skinny Jean and the Fortune + Ivy- Anwe Cold Shoulder Tie Front Top. I usually love the denim that I get in my stitch fix boxes and these had a great fit…I just wasn’t a fan of the color! I didn’t think they were a color that I could pair a lot with and didn’t see myself wearing them a lot so they went back! The cold shoulder top looked super cute when I took it out of the box but when I tried it on it was extremely sheer and I would have to wear a tank under it. I’m not a fan of tons of layers in the summer time so this one was not a keeper.
This month I only sent back two things! I already can’t wait for my August box and if y’all want to sign up feel free to use my referral link here. See you next month!
