March Stitch Fix

I’ve been receiving stitch fix boxes once a month since May 2017. I LOVE it but I’m not going to lie, it takes a few times for your stylist to get to know you and what you like! Telling them what you like out of your boxes is the key to being happy with what comes next in your box. If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix and how it works, here’s the breakdown about how the process works.

1. You start by filling out a style profile – you will answer questions about sizing, pricing, preferences, colors, etc. You can also write notes about likes/dislikes. If you have a Pinterest, you can link your fashion boards so your stylist can find out more about what you like.

2. Order your fix! You will be charged a $20 styling fee, however, if you keep any item you will be credited back the $20. You should always keep at least one (so you don’t lose the $20). You will receive 5 items each time usually made up of clothing, jewelry and shoes. I personally only want clothing in my fix so I just always let my stylist know but I have gotten some really cute shoes in the past!

3. Decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back (they give you a prepaid envelope)! You have 3 business days to send it back so use the time to try everything on, see what you have in your closet that pairs well with it and don’t be afraid to say yes to something that you wouldn’t normally.  A lot of times I get something in the box that I think I’ll hate but then I try it on and end up falling in love with it! That’s what makes it so fun! If you keep all 5 items you will receive 25% off your entire fix!
So, with all of that out of the way, I was so excited for my March box. But, the package was lost in the mail. I contacted Stitch Fix to let them know and they handled it amazingly! I got a $20 credit and they sent me a new box right away.
So here is what came in my March Box!
Collective Concepts- Harvart Tie Waste Top $54
I thought this shirt had potential since gingham is so in for spring and I love a good plaid but when I tried it on it made me look like a tablecloth on the fourth of July. This one went back in the send back pile!
Hazel- Shikoba Cutout Strap Detail Top $58
This one I wasn’t so sure about. It was cute but I didn’t think it was worth $58 dollars if I wasn’t in love with it! It went to the send back pile as well!
Kaileigh-Annabelle Knit Dress $58
When I pulled this out of the box I immediately thought this would be a no but I tried it on because sometimes things look differently when you put it on. This one wasn’t one of those exceptions however, it was not flattering at all. The polka dot print dress went back to Stitch Fix.
Just Black- Valen Distressed Wide Cut Jeans $88
Skies are Blue- Emden Off the Shoulder Blouse $58
These were the two items that I ended up keeping from this months box! Anytime I get denim in my stitch fix box I usually keep it. The fit is always so good and you can tell their denim is good quality.  The off the shoulder shirt with the bell sleeves had my name written all over it, I love a bell sleeve. This top is super easy to throw on or dress up if you need to!
This months box definitely wasn’t one of my favorites, I usually love most of what I get, but since my package was lost I’m thinking by new box was rushed just to get me something. I’m looking forward to the April Box and can’t wait to show y’all what I get!
